PJ is a Catholic U alumnus from the class of 2019. As a student, he was involved on campus through student orgs, PEERS, Residence Life, Events & Conference Services, and the Office of Campus Activities -- where he now finds himself once again! He believes that getting involved on campus is one of the best ways for people to meet new friends, find what they are passionate about, and discover new things about themselves. He is a big fan of football (go Ravens), Marvel superheroes, and all manner of outdoor activities, and will gladly talk about these topics for hours on end with anyone willing to listen. Feel free to stop by!

    • MacKenzie Garrity Headshot
MacKenzie Garrity Assistant Director for Campus Events

      garrityme@cua.edu

During her undergraduate studies at Montclair State University, MacKenzie immersed herself in the campus' extracurricular opportunities. From working and being involved with various departments and different organizations on campus, her interest and passion for higher education grew. She then pursued her Master's in Organizational Leadership with a concentration in Leadership in Higher Education at Rider University; her thesis focused on burnout in undergraduate students through over-involvement. While at Rider, she also advised multiple organizations while holding an assistantship in Auxiliary Services. MacKenzie is a dedicated fan of the New York Mets, enjoys discovering new coffee shops around DC, and as a New Jerseyan, will gladly discuss the age-old Taylor ham versus pork roll debate (it's Taylor ham).
